Ballot help and election officeNovember 3, 2026 general election: the online application portal opens September 19; ballots begin issuing October 2. Requests are due November 2. The town clerk must receive the voted ballot by 8 p.m. on November 3.
Complete the ballot and return envelope exactly as instructed, including any signature, ID, witness or notary requirements. Check the official request and return deadlines; a mailing date is not always enough.
